Please contact the shop for all questions relating to rural delivery. We can make contact with our courier on their ability to deliver to a a specific rural address and advise of the cost if they are able to make the delivery.

When do I need to place my order by for same day delivery?

Pukerua Bay, Paekakariki, Paraparaumu, Waikanae - Please order before 10am

Kapiti - No Saturday delivery
There are no Sunday deliveries available, with the exception of Mother’s Day.
If your order is placed after the cutoff time, the order will be delivered on the next business day. Please ensure you choose the correct delivery pricing option. If you are unsure please call our shop to discuss further.
What happens if the person isn't home?
We use a specialised urgent/fragile courier to deliver our flowers to ensure the proper care is taken with the delivery. If there is no one home to receive the delivery then the flowers will be left in a safe location. If there is not a safe location for the delivery to be left and you have supplied a phone number with your delivery, our couriers will contact the recipient directly. If this is unsuccessful, the courier will contact us to make further arrangements.
Our flowers are packaged in a temporary water source that is sufficient for two days to ensure your flowers are in the best condition when they're received.
I selected the wrong address, what happens now?
If we are supplied the incorrect address and it isn't rectified before the delivery has left our store, we may require you to pay for another delivery charge to redirect the order. If your gift has already been successfully delivered to an incorrect address, you will be required to pay for a replacement delivery. It is imperative you provide us with the correct address and a contact phone number to avoid this happening.
Can I make a custom order?
Yes definitely! We love to create bespoke orders for our customers. If you have specific colours or flowers in mind, feel free to call us on 04 499 9040 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss with our talented florists. If you're planning something spectacular and out of the box, then please give us a few days notice in case we need to source special product on your behalf.
Will my bouquet look exactly like the picture?
We endeavor to recreate the image of the bouquet you have selected, however due to the nature of fresh, seasonal product some of the flowers pictured may not be available to us. We will replace these with flowers of a similar style and colour to ensure the overall look of the selected bouquet is achieved. If you would like to know what flowers are in season, feel free to call us on 04 499 9040 and place your order over the phone.
If you have any specific requests, feel free to put these in the 'delivery notes' section, and we will try our best to accommodate this. E.g "No lilies please"
How will my flowers be packaged?
Your flowers will be presented in one of our signature Scent Floral Boutique carry bags in the size which relates to the product you have selected. If you would prefer your bouquet is wrapped in a classic white paper wrap, please call us on 04 499 9040 or add to the delivery notes in the cart section. Please note we cannot wrap bouquets that come in a vase.
We always send out our flowers in a temporary water source that will last for two days to ensure freshness upon delivery.
All your lovely messages are hand written in store by our team and attached to your flowers for you on our Scent cards. Our cards also contain care instructions in ensure the recipient can enjoy their flowers for as long as possible.
What is the size difference between each bouquet online?
We offer 5 different sizes on our website. Petite, Grande, Lush, Luxurious and Abundance.
We send out each of bouquets in our signature Scent bags, the bag used depends on which size you order.
Our petite posies are sent out in our smallest bags. These are 20cm wide and 140cm high. Our petite posy fills this bag, so you should expect your flowers to be approx 20cm across.
Our Grande and Lush posies are sent out in our Medium bags. These are 25cm wide and 140cm high. Our Grande posies are approx. 23cm wide. Our Lush posy fills the bag, and is approx 25cm wide.
Our Luxurious and Abundance posies are delivered in our largest bag. These are 30cm wide and 25cm high. Our Luxurious posy fills the bag and is approx. 30cm wide. Our Abundance posy over flows this bag and will be approx 35cm wide.
These sizes are to be used as a guide, each size may vary due to season and will differ florist to florist based on the technique used.
